Wow! What fun we had at the benefit! Chip and his musicians entertained us with lots of good music. Many thanks to What a Band, What a Band, SUN 209, and The Pounders. Thanks to Chip for putting it all together! We love you Chip!! The kids had a great time being “jail birds”. Thanks to Lizzy for making that happen!! Johnny B. brought two really nice “Lazy B’s Ranch/What A Band” t-shirts to auction off and which helped raised funds. Mark and Donna brought a “great piece of art” to auction off, and “Queen Janine” won the auction and graciously donated it to the Lazy B’s! Congratulations to Dale Williams for receiving the first “Volunteer of the Year Award”. We love you Dale! Jan opened the event with scripture about how much God loves us and these kids that we work with. Her beautiful prayer set the atmosphere in the place. Lynn talked about purpose and destiny, which a few people commented later about how she spoke eloquently. That’s why I chose her to speak. I could go on and on about how the event touched people, but I am going to let you all do the talking. Please comment so we all know your thoughts.
To all the friends and family of the Lazy B’s, we THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. We could not do any of this without your support!!!
Much love and prayers,
Bonny & Bill
Bill & Bonny – Wow, what a blessed, fun party and fund raiser. Everything was amazing – from the prayers and testimonials to the food and great live music (thank-you, Chip!!!). The gift of the Lord’s Love is all over everything you do – the ranch, the party, everything. We love you!!! – Bill & Kathy Latocki
A huge ‘THANK YOU’ goes out to Chip for once again spearheading the annual benefit for the Lazy B’s Ranch. In addition to planning and coordinating the event, Chip MC’d and provided great entertainment for the evening as the leader of ‘What a Band, What a Band’ and ‘Sun 209’.
The benefit was held Saturday November 1 at the Berkley Front in Berkley. The food was great, the attendance was larger than last year’s benefit, the music rocked (my ears have finally quit ringing), and significant $$$ were raised to help fund the activities at the ranch.
Lynn spoke on the importance of mentoring, and incorporated a tribute to Tucker in her presentation. The compassion, knowledge, and love for Bonny and Bill that she put forth was an inspiration for everyone in attendance.
The evening’s entertainment was capped off by ‘The Pounders’. They played a nice mix of original material and covers, loud and proud.
It was great to so many of the friends of the ranch together in one place. It allowed me to put some faces with I’ve seen and heard.
Thank you to everyone who attended, and hope to see more of you at next year’s event.
